Cabin in the Woods

I dream of living in a cabin in the woods, preferably near a lake, where I can sit in peace, bake pies and read all day. Somewhere tranquil and quiet where the rush of the world is gone and you can actually smell plants.

I also love the idea of living somewhere small, big houses are so impersonal and unappealing to me. The lovely people at Tumbleweed make my dreams all the more possible by selling tiny houses for equally tiny sums. Peaceful, cozy and environmentally friendly...sign me up!

King Kong Blues

Michele Lamy - Wife and Muse of designer Rick Owens. This woman is AMAZING. Not only do I love her for her confident and unashamed fashion (see the dyed fingers - divine) but she has had an amazing life with about 100 electic careers. I also love her for comments like this one - when asked what her motivation was for "altering her body" with hand tattoos and gold plated teeth, she replied... "To be able to sing the King Kong Blues."
